NextM Nordics 2024 win at Gyllene Hjulet

NextM 2024 winner at Gyllene Hjulet

On April 23, Sponsrings & Eventsverige (The Swedish Sponsorship and Event Association) gathered the entertainment and sponsorship industry for their annual ceremony, Gyllene Hjulet, awarding prestigious prizes to the best-performing events and sponsorships. NextM, the biggest marketing event in the region, organized by WPP Media (former GroupM) won industry fair of the year.

NextM 2024 was the most well-attended event to date since the launch in 2015. Under the theme Exponentially yours, speakers and participants gathered around the latest innovations, marketing methods and technology. NextM 2024 hit high targets in terms of number of participants, and attendee satisfaction – with the cello-playing robot, holograms, AI perfume, MR-branded t-shirts and dancing robot dogs.

The jury statement:
"With a discerning audience, high expectations, and a focus on tech, NextM not only delivered — it exceeded expectations. Playful innovation, sustainability, and high engagement created a strong impact and brought great value to both visitors and partners. We’re excited to see what comes next!"

“So many fantastic partners both from the production and the media side came together to co-produce the craziness that was NextM 2024. A huge shout out to our gold partners Amazon Ads, Ocean Outdoor, Schibsted and TikTok and our magic core team including our own staff as well as Eventum, Edge Design and Technology and Deep Studios,” says Sara Nordström, NextM Director

Cornelia Cabau, Creative Production Lead and Live Producer at Eventum comments:
"This event was in a class of its own, and I’m incredibly proud to see it receive the recognition it deserves. A production built on a sharp message and bold ambition, where every detail was carefully considered and intentionally executed. With an audience that is not easily impressed and expectations set high from the very beginning, this was a production that demanded and delivered that little extra in every part of the experience."
