WPP Media and Partners Secure Gyllene Hjulet Awards for NextM

WPP Media Sweden, in collaboration with its agency partners Avalon, Deep Studios, and EDGE Design & Technology, has secured the silver award for NextM Nordics 2025 in the "Exhibition Event of the Year" (Årets Mässarrangemang) category at this year’s Gyllene Hjulet awards.

Pushing the Boundaries of Event Innovation
The jury for Gyllene Hjulet praised the event stating:

“NextM is the Nordic region’s most important meeting place for marketing and technology, and a pioneer in Swedish event marketing. It is a long-term B2B event that combines international content, Nordic reach, and measurable business impact.”

With this latest accolade, NextM solidifies its position as one of the most innovative and highly anticipated industry events in Sweden, as it also won the gold the previous year.

A big shout-out also goes out to the NextM graphics partner Deep Studios, awarded a gold for “Creative Event of the Year” (Årets Kreativa Event) as well as a silver for “Expo of the Year” (Årets Expo), for their collaborative project “Swish Trigger”, together with Barncancerfonden (Children's Cancer Foundation) and WPP Media Sweden. A charity communication project creating a new type of fundraising activity during NextM Nordics 2025, with an audience-driven, live-based Swish activation where each donation triggered a physical event at Deep's office that was shown in real time in the event booth.

Their activation added an excellent element of playfulness to NextM Nordic Tech Garden.
